Sports-Études

In collaboration with Judo-Québec, Shidokan Inc. has been offering since September 2009 a Sport-Études program to students identified as "Espoir", "Rèleve", "Elite", and "Excellence" by Judo-Québec. The Shidokan Sport-Études program is perfectly tailored to the needs of young athletes. The schedule allows them to focus on their studies in the morning and develop their judo skills in the afternoon.
Our Sports-Études program has seen remarkable success, with numerous athletes rising through the ranks to join Provincial and National teams. We’re proud to highlight that three of our Sports-Études alumni have even earned World medals, showcasing the exceptional talent nurtured within our program. By enrolling your child in Sports-Études, you’re giving them the opportunity to train alongside dedicated peers and experienced coaches, paving the way for future success in sports. Elite classes (Obligatory for Shidokan athletes)

Option #2

Sports Concentration program

New program for those who do not attend an eligible school

Although this program is not part of the official Sport Étude program, it offers athletes the opportunity to benefit from the same advantages by providing additional technical and physical training.

This program is available for elementary school students (grade 5 or higher) up to secondary 5. A green belt is not required.

Monday - 15:30 - 17:00 (Technical Judo)
Tuesday - 15:30 - 16:30 (Physical Training)
Wednesday - 15:30 - 17:00 (Technical Judo)
Thursday - 15:30 - 16:30 (Physical Training)
Friday - 15:30 - 17:00 (Technical Judo)

The student may also participate in the night classes (no extra fee) appropriate for their level of judo. Discuss with your sensei to determine which class is appropriate.
