This course is intended for children aged 6 & over wishing to practice judo for the first time.
The first Beginner 1 class of the 2024-2025 season is on September 10, 2024.Beginners #1 Practice time:
Tuesday: 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.;
Thursday: 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Beginners #2 Practice time:
Thursday: 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.
The first Beginner 2 class of the 2024-2025 season is on September 12, 2024.
This course is intended for children aged 7+ with a minimum 1 year of experience.
Tuesday: 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.;
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
The first Intermediate class of the 2024-2025 season is on September 10, 2024.
This course is intended for children aged 10+ with a minimum 3 years of experience.
Tuesday: 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.;
Thursday: 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.;
Saturday: 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The first Advanced class of the 2024-2025 season is on September 10, 2024.
This course is for people aged 13+ with at least a green belt. To be part of this course, the technical director of Shidokan must first evaluate the candidate. An excellent physical condition is necessary to take part. All courses are focused on very high level competition. Each training session includes at least 1 hour of intensive combat. The course is led by Hiroshi Nakamura 9th dan and Anton Dickson.
Monday 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.;
Wednesday 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.;
Friday 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
In collaboration with Judo Québec, Shidokan Inc. has been offering since September 2009 a Sport-Études program to students identified as prospects, rising stars, elite, and excellence by Judo Québec Inc. The Shidokan Sport-Études program is perfectly tailored to the needs of young athletes. The schedule allows them to focus on their studies in the morning and develop their judo skills in the afternoon. Training sessions with the national team are also scheduled..
This course is intended for young people aged 15 & over as well as adults aged 50 & over, all grades combined, who want to start judo, improve it or maintain excellent physical shape.
The junior and senior classes take place during the same training session and participants practice judo according to their respective level of experience.
Training hours:
Monday: 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Wednesday: 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Friday: 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Cours de katas
This course is for brown and black belts who want to learn where to perfect the different katas. Classes are given by M.Nakamura 9th dan who has more than 40 years in the knowledge of katas. He has also stayed at the Kodokan on several occasions to study them in depth. He is also the only international A kata referee in Canada. It is therefore an opportunity not to be missed for those who want to perfect their katas.
